I was invited over to London (actually to Wales) to host the Demo Jam event which was part of the UK TechTour this year.
It was the 3rd time from my understanding that the UK Tech Tour had not only taken place (together with the SAP BusinessObjects Insight event) but also with a Demo Jam event. So when Lydnsey Spurgin invited me over to work on the Demo Jam and host it during the event I was quite excited to do so, my first TechTour and having the honor of hosting their Demo Jam I just couldn’t refuse.
To date I’ve been to 19 TechEd events, 3 SAP Inside Tracks, 2 Innovation Weekends and only 1 Tech Tour and I was thoroughly, thoroughly impressed with how well the event was run! I’ve also hosted over a dozen Demo Jam events and I’m surprised time after time by the increasing quality of the demos and the enthusiasm of the participants! I hear even the Aussie’s are getting into the act!
With all that being said, I’m also being asked on an increasing basis “when will the Demo Jam submission process open up?” for the SAP TechEd. Well to that I can only say that I was just invited to the planning kick off meeting on April 15th, so within a few hours of the meeting I will have many more details to share with everyone! Keep watching this space because the SAP Demo Jam still proves to be one of the absolute best settings to showcase your SAP innovations!
