It is that time of year again that the SAP World Tours get around to North America
The theme for the SAP World Tour’s, “Business In The Moment” is where participants will experience SAP HANA, business analytics and mobility. If you could not attend SAPPHIRE NOW the World Tours are the next best event to get access to SAP innovations, customers and executives. The tours are also virtual at World Tour – Virtual Attendance (Oct. 20).
World Tour – New York (Oct. 25) This event features a keynote by Steve Lucas, global senior executive leading Business Analytics for SAP and Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia.
World Tour – Toronto (Nov. 10) In Canada our three key note speakers include: Mark Aboud, responsible for SAP’s business operations in Canada, Gary Hameland Amanda Lang, Gemini-award winning business journalist and CBC’s senior business correspondent, reporting for its flagship nightly news program, The National.
Each conference has a separate registration and is free! Hope to see you there!
It’s that time of the year and the SAP TechEdDemo Jam is ramping into full force, but never fear you still have time to submit your ideas and MAYBE become one of the elite Demo Jammers yourself!
As with years in the past SAP has decided to make someone available to discuss your ideas and submission with prior to actually submitting it! So with keeping with that tradition this year you’ve got two folks stepping up to take over the process, this short podcast will give you all the information and more importantly let you know who these two guys are and when you can find out more!
Craig has a chat with Denis Browne, Bjoern Goerke and Hervé Couturier about how they are not only enabling innovation within the company but also the culture of innovation and pulling our customers and partners into it as well.
I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Madeleine Doucet in Orlando at SAPPHIRE NOW, she is the VP Business Technology at La Vie En Rose. La Vie En Rose happens to also be a SAP Business Objects customer.
We discussed why she came to SAPPHIRE NOW as well as the path that lead them there as well as the path they are working towards as they begin to think towards the future. With 153 retail stores in Canada and 60 international and eyes on more, the path ahead is clear and now it’s time to see where and how the technology is going to help them achieve their goals.
I just had the pleasure of chatting with Sanjay Poonen about his new role at SAP and his vision moving forward, how he’s building his team and working with them to effect change and of course around innovation and how how SAP “can’t talk to our customers enough”. Two comments he made that really caught my attention was the fact that he tweeted us chatting before we started and that he was glad to participate because you need to remember to include your community!
